Community Outreach Medical Center provides high quality comprehensive healthcare, intensive case management and collaborative outreach to medically underserved populations in the greater southern Nevada region.
About Us
COMC, born in 2005, is a United Way accredited organization. Our belief is that our patient's needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire medical team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our practice is from repeat patients and referrals.
In 2008 COMC provided services to 6,747 patients. As of May 2009, we have had 4,113 patients receive care. Comparing 2008 to 2009 figures this time last year, we have more than doubled in patients. We expect our numbers to grow even more. One of our goals at COMC is to provide affordable medical care. We also strive to improve the lives of those patients in urban Las Vegas through kind, compassionate and uncompromising medical care in a fashion that is seen in private practice settings. Our clinic takes a large patient load off of the local health department and the University Medical Center; two public service entities that cannot adequately care for the large population of uninsured patients in need of medical services.
